XM Metering Meter Box

Product Overview

The XM metering meter box is an assembly comprising the necessary metering instruments and auxiliary equipment for measuring electrical energy. This includes the electric energy meter, voltage and current transformers for metering along with their secondary circuits, as well as the metering panels, cabinets, or boxes themselves.

Installation Method

The XM metering meter box can be installed either by wall-mounting (suspension) or floor-mounting. To ensure installation quality, wall-mounted boxes must be fixed using built-in expansion bolts. The bolt specifications must meet safety and firmness requirements, as well as outdoor installation conditions.

Altitude: < 1000m

Ambient Temperature: -10~+45℃, with extreme operating temperature range: -15~+55℃

Relative Humidity: At +20℃, should not exceed 90%; at +45°C, should not exceed 50%

Protection Degree: Outdoor not less than IP34D, indoor not less than IP20

Rated Voltage: Below 500V

Rated Current: For single-phase or three-phase direct-connect type, load current per household should not exceed 40A

Rated Insulation Voltage: 660V

Layout Considerations

For direct-connect type, an incoming switch chamber, a metering chamber, and an outgoing switch chamber must be provided.

For transformer-connect type, an incoming switch chamber, a transformer chamber, a metering chamber, and an outgoing switch chamber must be provided. Each functional area must be independently separated.

Energy meters and power consumption information collection terminals should be installed on fixed clamps, mounting racks, or grid plates.

The horizontal distance between energy meters should not be less than 30mm, and the vertical distance should not be less than 80mm.

The distance between the test terminal block, energy meter, power consumption information collection terminal, and the enclosure should not be less than 60mm.

The distance between the front face of the energy meter and the observation window should be between 15-20mm.
