Summary of Five Prevention Knowledge for 6KV Switchgear

Prevent accidental opening and closing of circuit breakers. (Mainly to prevent misoperation of equipment)

Prevent accidental loading and closing of isolation switches. (Because the isolation switch does not have arc extinguishing characteristics, it prevents personnel injury or equipment damage caused by arc short circuit.)

Prevent mistakenly entering the wrong interval or boarding live equipment. (Prevent personnel from misoperation or maintenance)

Prevent false charging by hanging grounding wires or closing grounding switches. (Prevent direct hard three-phase short-circuit grounding of equipment)

Prevent accidental grounding of power transmission. (Prevent direct hard three-phase short-circuit grounding of equipment)

The main way to achieve electrical five prevention is through the on-site switchgear. Specifically, analyze some of the functions of our factory's switchgear five prevention.

When the equipment is in operation (although it may not start, it is still in operation), the grounding knife switch is in the open state, and the switch is in the working position. The blocking plate for operating the grounding knife switch cannot be fully pressed down (generally not more than 1/2). Some switch cabinets are equipped with electromagnets, and when the electromagnets are not energized, the blocking plate cannot be pressed down. When the grounding knife switch is in the open state, the front and rear lower cabinet doors of the switchgear cannot be opened. When the rear lower cabinet door cannot be opened, the rear upper cabinet door cannot be opened. (The rear cabinet door belongs to the busbar room)

When the device is in operation, the secondary aviation plug of the switch cannot be unplugged.

When the device is in operation, the switch cannot be remotely moved to the working position through the joystick.

In addition, when the switch is in the closed state, it cannot be remotely reached to the working position.

When the switch is remotely connected to the test position, the blocking plate of the grounding knife switch can only be fully pressed down before operating the grounding knife switch.

During equipment maintenance, when the grounding knife switch is in the closed state, the front and rear lower cabinet doors and the rear upper cabinet door can be opened. When the grounding knife switch is in the closed state, the switch cannot be remotely moved to the working position.

There is an emergency operation baffle for the grounding knife switch on the front lower cabinet door of the switchgear. In case of emergency, the grounding knife switch lock on the front lower cabinet door can be manually released.

The opening and closing indication of the grounding knife switch can be seen through the observation window of the front lower cabinet door, and the indication should be accurate, without deviation or looseness.
